Sunroom Sanctuary

I have been sharing so many pictures of our children lately that I'm starting to worry I've become that Mommy who can't stop showing off her kids. Yes our children are insanely cute but it is time to switch gears for a minute to my other obsession, interior design. So naturally I was over the moon when my hairdresser told me that she was in need of some design advice for her sunroom.  This bright airy space got little use from the family of four. I wanted to create a cozy retreat for her girls to curl up in while Mom cooks dinner, as well as a fabulous spot to sip wine and enjoy the sunshine with friends. Heres a sneak peek at our initial design boards for the space. Be sure to stay tuned for fun before and after pictures of this sweet sunny space.

While my client loved the color scheme and lighting she was concerned that the daybed would not work in this space. I have been drooling over this daybed for a long time and really just couldn't resist. I opted for a more comfortable piece in the second design board that will hold more pillows and seven year old girls. Not to worry this daybed will be finding a way into my home soon:)
