Wild Things

This week's featured room belongs to a little dude I hold close to my heart. Since we moved into our home two years ago, Leo's room has been seriously neglected. With neon green walls and a gray stained carpet, it was our dumping ground for toys and outgrown clothes. He had already claimed Mommy and Daddy's room as his own so it was easy to leave this space forgotten... But the clutter was slowly driving me mad and I was officially ready to get my bed back.
When designing this room I was working with a small space (and an even smaller budget) so I wanted to make a big impact with color and pattern. Sherwin Williams Naval paint instantly set the tone for a cozy hide away. With lots of oversized pillows and a soft faux fur throw for snuggling, this room has gone from seriously neglected to my favorite spot to cuddle with our favorite books.  I had  so much fun pairing patterns from Caitlin Wilsons pillow collection and Restoration Hardware Baby & Child bedding. If you haven't heard of Caitlin Wilson go buy her stuff now. She is hands down one of my favorite designers, every textile she designs is magic.  The rest of his room needs a bit more accessorizing but sometimes just a touch of color is all you need. Thanks for reading!
